Uptown Whittier, CA

This are a few designs from #diadelosmuertos at #uptownwhittier #ddlm #dayofthedead . This year I had the privilege to work with Vanessa from Color me face painting and with Cindy from Up up and away. They are amazing artist, whom I learned from a lot.

The event was great. Kudos to Yolanda from casitadelpueblo. They treated the vendors very nice.. the set up was very organized this year.. the atmosphere enjoyable. This is a family event so bring the kiddos and participate in the different contest they have; singing, catrina contest, car and altar contest.. there is plenty to do here.

My favorite is the altars and the food, as well as the concerts. If you have a chance come down to Whittier, CA usually the second Sunday of October for Casita Del Pueblo’s uptown Whittier Dia De Los Muertos.
